Semi-Automatic Quality Inspection System for Car – Rear Lights

Structure

• rotary semi-automatic machine with four cavities for one left and one right rear light.
• for each test cycle to three test stations a total of six measurements.

test station 1 – connector test

• all connectors are disconnected by connector, possibly bent pin contacts are aligned

test station  2 – pin height measurement

•  measuring the exact height of the contact pins.

test station 3 – insulation measurement according to VDE

• in the case of four measurements is the insulation resistance conductor path.

Evaluation, 

• no error, green lamp, two test mark stamp per part an ISO characters.
• error, red lamp, signal sounds, message NOK.

Protection of employees through light grids

• interruption of the light grid all movements of the plant is immediately stopped.
