A specified test weight is raised by a pneumatic lifting mechanism.
Various test weights can be mounted on the drop device, e.g., a seat impactor in accordance with EN 1728.
Once the desired drop height is reached, the test weight is released by an electromagnetically controlled latch.
The test weight strikes the test specimen in near-free fall.
Accessories: Micro-PLC-controlled cycle controller for testing in accordance with DIN/EN standards.
