A solid, smooth steel ball with a mass of 225 g can be attached to this drop unit (included with the delivery).<br \/>\nThe drop can be triggered using an electric pushbutton after the safety door has been closed.<br \/>\nThis allows tests to be safely conducted in accordance with EN 12983-2, Section 4.2, or Annex B: Steel Ball Impact Test. <\/p>\n<p>A striking hammer with a mass of 75 g and a pointed tool with a radius of curvature of 0.2 mm is also mounted in the test chamber.
