The handheld device is used to determine different degrees of firmness in upholstery components and materials such as PUR foam or latex, as well as to perform comparative measurements.

The device is manufactured in accordance with DIN 9001 certification requirements, with appropriate traceability. It is shipped weighing 5 kg.

Operation: Place the linear measuring system on a flat surface and set it to 0 using the reset button. Secure the depth stop using the pins and toggle lever. Press the pressure piece into the material three times at a constant speed, then read the value.

Measurements should only be taken under standard climate conditions. Record environmental parameters. Sample logs are available for download.

For comparative measurements: Zero the device to the reference zone; deviations in the target zone are directly readable.
